Notes from our clients

The Pets Practice strives to provide excellent service to all our clients and their pets - we are very proud that our caring attitude is appreciated by both our clients and their animals. Here is a selection of the recent 'Thank you' notes that we have received.

Since we transferred the healthcare provision for our dogs to the Pets Practice, we have been extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and friendliness which everyone at the practice demonstrates.

Both our dogs have required treatment for a variety of ailments from boosters and ear mites, to chemotherapy. Regardless of the condition, arrangements have been made by Pets Practice staff to minimise any distress to both our dogs, (either bringing our German Shepherd into the surgery through a back door or making appointment times to reduce contact with other dogs, through to providing our Doberman with numerous treats! Through the out of hours vets service, appointments can be scheduled around our work commitments for our convenience and to minimise the need for prolonged periods of human/canine separation.

Haydn’s extensive notes, mean that all staff members are aware of a pets condition and progression of treatment. It is our experience that Haydn provides the pet owners with all the relevant and necessary information in order to be fully aware of the animal’s progress and in order to make a fully informed decision regarding the direction of any treatment required.
Administration staff submit insurance claims directly to the insurance company with minimal involvement from the customer/policy holder/pet owner.

Two years ago, our Doberman Vinnie was diagnosed with ‘wobblers’. We steeled ourselves and prepared for the worse. However, Haydn suggested a course of treatment that restored Vinnie’s quality of life and allowed him to be a normal dog again. Unfortunately, 18 months later, he was diagnosed with lymphoma/ cancer. Again Haydn’s advice was vital in order to manage his condition and ensure at no point he was distressed.

Throughout this time, we were kept completely in the picture with regard to Vinnie’s treatment and on our weekly visits Haydn kept a close eye to monitor Vinnie’s condition.
Vinnie was thankfully unaware of his battle with cancer due to the care of all staff at the practice. Again, Haydn understanding our strong attachment to Vinnie helped us through the inevitable and carried out the arrangement for cremation. The day we had to put him down was so hard, but with Haydn’s professionalism his passing was as calm and dignified as we could have wished.

We can do no more than thank Haydn and his staff for their outstanding care in the past and know that our German shepherd is in excellent hands

We'd like to say a big thank you to Haydn and all the staff for all the treatment and care you've given Rosie over the past couple of months, especially as an in-patient.

Also, for the advice you often had to give us as further problems arose and developed.

So, many thanks to you all - she couldn't have been in better hands.
