Veterinary Nurse Clinics

All our veterinary nurses are trained pet health counsellors and we run a number of free clinics that are held between 1pm and 3pm Monday to Friday, offering friendly advice for common ailments.

Does your pets' breath get you down?

Do you have a podgy pooch or a tubby tabby?

Is your pet's age starting to show?

Dental clinics

Dental disease is a major problem in domestic cats and dogs. Just like humans, pets get plaque and tartar build-up too! I'm sure you've had your teeth scaled and polished at the dentist at some time, but did you know that pets require the exact same procedure for their teeth too?

Our nurses can provide free advice on the best treatment for your pet - from brushing through to a full ultrasonic scale and polish.

Dietary and weight clinics

Our nurses can give advice on any dietary questions you may have, including if you feel that your pet may be overweight. Our weight clinics have proved to be a huge success and have been very beneficial to many pets who are now able to enjoy happier and healthier lives.

After much research, The Pets Practice decided to stock the Royal Canin range of Veterinary Diets. Royal Canin is at the forefront of dietary research worldwide and has developed specific ranges of diets for pets based on size, breed, age and activity level.

Geriatric clinics

Drop in and speak to our nurses about your pet's age-related aches and pains - they can offer free advice and sometimes something as simple as a change of diet is enough to give elderly pets a new lease of life!

They may advise that a visit with the Vet would be more helpful, in which case we'll do our best to see you at the same time to avoid another trip. (Vet consultations are chargeable.)
